Through most of 2018 I felt the urge to contact Daniel to see if he would be interested in being part of this project, and I was delighted when he came back to me and was keen to take part.

Early June 2017 I took a walk near Ashdown Forest and I took my medium format camera with me. Really I was looking for some good woodland shots for my Sussex series, and this is what I came up with.
This is a portrait taken of Rob in April 2017. It had it’s issues and has not quite got the outside feel I was intending. It’s definately got a Rob feel about it and for me that’s the main thing.
These pictures were taken on two visits with my father to a small area south west of the Standen National Trust House. On the first visit the weather was not good. It was thankfully dry but very damp and overcast.
Im a bit behind with this one another day out and we ended up on the isle of sheppey . An interesting place. Here are my images
Up to now I have photographed largely anything, but I know I have been influenced by many landscape photographers such as Fay Godwin, John Blakemore and Michael Kenna and I love their work. They do what they do in their style
