I know that God is ultimately strong, and we can be made strong if we believe and trust wholeheartedly in him.
This is something I find very hard, as I continually slip into a place where I think I have some kind of strength without him.

Isaiah 40:29
He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak.

Exodus 15:1-3
15 Then Moses and the Israelites sang this song to the Lord:
 “I will sing to the Lord,
     for he is highly exalted
 Both horse and driver
    he has hurled into the sea.
2 “The Lord is my strength and my defense
    he has become my salvation.
He is my God, and I will praise him,
    my father’s God, and I will exalt him.
3 The Lord is a warrior;
    the Lord is his name.

Psalm 18:31-33
31 For who is God besides the Lord?
    And who is the Rock except our God?
32 It is God who arms me with strength
    and keeps my way secure.
33 He makes my feet like the feet of a deer;
    he causes me to stand on the heights.

Mark 12:29-31
29 “The most important one,” answered Jesus, “is this: ‘Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. 30 Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength. 31 The second is this: ‘Love your neighbour as yourself.’[c] There is no commandment greater than these.”

Acts 14:21-23
21 They preached the gospel in that city and won a large number of disciples. Then they returned to Lystra, Iconium and Antioch, 22 strengthening the disciples and encouraging them to remain true to the faith. “We must go through many hardships to enter the kingdom of God,” they said. 23 Paul and Barnabas appointed elders[a] for them in each church and, with prayer and fasting, committed them to the Lord, in whom they had put their trust.

Ephesians 3:16
I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being,

Philippians 4:12-14
12 I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. 13 I can do all this through him who gives me strength.

 14 Yet it was good of you to share in my troubles.
