Read Isaiah 43 again
Isaiah 46:9 NIVUK
“Remember the former things, those of long ago; I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is none like me.”
Torn ligament positives
The realisation yet again I am not in control and I can’t do everything under my own strength. How quickly do I forget just a simple twisted ankle and I can’t do anything. Yet my God has everything under control and all my needs met before it happens, and recovery already seems to be on its way just 48hours later Step back and look at your situation. I am just at the start of rushing back into a busy work situation which I am so grateful for, God has so blessed me. But don’t get blinkered by it. Keep your eyes on God. He is in control I can only do a little. The realisation that there are positives to this situation. One being I get to spend more time with God.
Thanking God for the difficult things that happen because of what he has taught you through them.
Psalm 4:3
Know that the Lord has set apart his faithful servant for himself;
the Lord hears when I call to him.
Psalm 40:1-3
I waited patiently for the Lord to help me,
and he turned to me and heard my cry.
He lifted me out of the pit of despair,
out of the mud and the mire.
He set my feet on solid ground
and steadied me as I walked along.
He has given me a new song to sing,
a hymn of praise to our God.
Many will see what he has done and be amazed.
They will put their trust in the Lord.
Psalm 13:5-6
But I trust in your unfailing love.
I will rejoice because you have rescued me.
I will sing to the LORD
because he is good to me.
Isaiah 55:1-3 NIVUK
“‘Come, all you who are thirsty, come to the waters; and you who have no money, come, buy and eat! Come, buy wine and milk without money and without cost. Why spend money on what is not bread, and your labour on what does not satisfy? Listen, listen to me, and eat what is good, and you will delight in the richest of fare. Give ear and come to me; listen, that you may live. I will make an everlasting covenant with you, my faithful love promised to David.”
